N and I cooked a nice piece of rib eye for dinner tonight. Steak frites with gorgonola cheese and a brandy peppercorn pan sauce and a salad of sliced cucumbers (fresh from N's mom's garden!) with rice vinegar.

Yum!!

I have been corrected...it was Danish Blue cheese, not gorgonzola...or gorgonola, for that matter. What *is* gorgonola, anyway?

This makes me laugh for so many reasons!

I think it's going well. Cassie seems to be settling in nicely. He's getting used to the litter box in the garage, to the kitty door which is taped open right now.
