Today I sent Eowyn to Kalamazoo--no really, not just in a hyperbolic threatening way after she as eaten a sock. (Drop it or I'm sending you to Kalamazoo!) She couldn't fly with the S-M's yesterday because of the heat, so she spent the night here and got shipped off as cargo today ( Read more... )

Spencer was too healthy to warrant a 1-month checkup, so he just went in for 2 month visit.
As I suspected, he's growing fast. 12.5 lbs or so, up from 6.5lbs at birth. He's almost double his birth weight already! Although to be fair, he has become a worrisome 4 day or more pooper, and when he was weighed, he was overdue. He's up to 75th ( Read more... )

Spencer is starting to develop his own bedtime, much like Jack did once upon a time. Around the time Jack goes to bed (8ish) I can expect Spencer to start getting fussy and hungry, and I usually have to give him a couple of ounces from a bottle. I have numerous photos of infant Jack BAWLING because I dared put him on his stomach for tummytime. He hated it from the first second, and I had to put a timer on so that I could make sure he got a couple of minutes before I rescued him. I think his tummytime actually counted for double because he struggled so hard he got in extra neck exercise ( Read more... )
