Several months ago I stumbled upon this poem published nearly 100 years ago. I was looking for a poem or hymn to supplement the introduction to the bible Study on Nehemiah Chapters 5-7.  It has resonated deeply with me in the months since. I have leaned on Ms. Flint's words heavily these past few months. So encouraging and uplifting.

This week was an amazing change of pace.

Next week is VBS, but thankfully this week I have most of my grunt work done. Still odds and ends, one more training session that I have to give, but I am finding a little bit more time to relax and unwind. It's a good thing. I swear I am tired of people telling me how tired I look.

I am journaling from my laptop while on the 9 - 10 hour car trip back from our visit to my hometown. It was a wonderful weekend. Full of peace, family, and happy times.

Life is moving full steam ahead. I honestly look at my life right now and am amazed that I am keeping his many balls in the air. Oh my, I am so excited.

Bryan is out with the guys tonight and I sat down to digest the pages of my writing contract and start ticking off things from the to-do list.  It was a perfect night for me to have some alone time.
