I'm leaving for the closest thing resembling a vacation I've had in my entire adult life. Wednesday thru Friday, I will be staying with friends in Washington DC. Any suggestions for cheap/fun things to do while I'm there?

So I got unemployment, and guess what? I can extend this shit 'til graduation next April. Uhhh... I'm jobless.

I do qualify for unemployment, which one of my former coworkers got. But wow. This is the first time in who knows how long that I've been jobless.

Should I celebrate? Freak out? Look for other work?

New roommate was going to move in, but backed out. So uh.. throwin' word out now- looking for trans-friendly roommate for April 1st, $425 a month in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Holla back.

Lux Interior of the Cramps died yesterday of an existing heart condition. Thats a shame. I am happy to be able to say I was able to see them a few times before he passed. Fucker was 60 years old and still touring! I had no idea he was that old.

My aunt has been spending huge amounts of time and money unearthing ancient photos of family members. Can't say the results haven't been interesting. It appears my brother and I have continued in the footsteps of our hairy, hairy Mediterranean ancestors.
