guess what....

i got a promotion!!

Next month I start on the National team as an assistant account executive and I can't wait! Last night R and I went out to Cafe Zola to celebrate (thanks Dad!!)... the best part of the new job is that the team I'll be working with is awesome.  Everyone is really good and I get along with in and out of work.... I ( Read more... )

Last night we had an impromptu dessert party and I made Strawberry Shortcake for a couple of friends and it turned out pretty good.

The cakes were a bit more dense than expected but I did have a few substitutions (skim milk instead of heavy cream, no food processor so I had to mix it all with a fork).  The one substitution that i liked was using ( Read more... )
