I realized today that I'm developing a bit of a kneejerk reaction to the phrase 'personal responsibility', and I think I want to unpack it a little and see what comes out. ( Cut for rantage. ) -

For once...
... I'm sorta proud to be from that part of West Virginia. The Westboro Baptist Church demonstration in Charleston could have turned into an ugly, ugly scene, but it didn't. Score two, now, for the notion of meeting hate with love and driving the damned bigots away. -

Interesting correlation
Work is insane and I have no time for real posting, but I can't resist this link.
There is, apparently, a statistical correlation between playing 4th edition D&D and enjoying bestiality. Most specifically, bestiality involving donkeys.
ETA: Yes, I realize this is most likely an April Fool's thing. Even so, is too funny to pass up. -

+ Marriage licenses for gay and lesbian couples are being issued in the District of Columbia for the first time today. I feel all kinds of happy for those who can finally take that step together, and I love my city for making it possible for them.
