Salome was quite possibly the best opera I've seen at the met, period. The set was astonishing--incredibly stylish without giving way to the Met's tendency for pointless opulence. The costumes were simple and effective--fully infused with symbols of frivolous wealth and power. The performances were all spot-on--from powerfully emotional to haunting ( Read more... ) -

This video makes me feel much better about Bethesda actually "getting it" for FO3. My only complaint is that the trailer is far more combat-heavy than I'd like, but I'm well aware that it's hard to have exciting talking head trailers:

It's very hard to believe that this is actually the case...
Three hours ago I finished my last final and turned in my last assignment of my undergraduate life. I'm done.
Now I will spend the next hour trying to catch up with the world outside of my game design project and drink something in celebration.
