The weather has been so fine today that it's a great shame that the clocks went back last night, meaning that darkness has descended so early. My friend from Edinburgh had to come south, for a funeral, yesterday, so he stayed with me last night. It seems that it has been more than a month since I last posted. During that time the firm for which I work has merged and instead of being in the City, I am now in the SW1 area of London. I was nauseous last night and had to sit up, as I was afraid that I would fall asleep and choke. As a result I now feel like death, even though I have managed to get some sleep this afternoon. the worst thing is that I have no idea what caused me to be sick.

I have been back from Edinburgh for a week now and things have been very hectic. My firm will be moving offices at the end of this month so we are beavering away at archiving and clearing out the rubbish, which has meant for some late evenings. I hope that no one on my flist has been unduly inconvenienced by the delays and cancellations caused to flights this week. I am supposed to be flying to Edinburgh in about ten days time so I am hoping that the situation will have improved by then.
