end of the semester insanity
the end of the semester is rapidly approaching, and time is super tight. i have to give a presentation on biofuel to my wastewater class on tuesday, and the full report is due a few days later. i'm about halfway done with that. i also have three critical journal reviews due for water treatment. those are much more difficult because they're not ( Read more... ) -

i love thursdays
it's so nice to sit here at my kitchen table this morning with my coffee and my laptop. thursdays are the only days that i don't have to be at school EXTREMELY early. i like taking my time in the morning. and damn, this gourmet coffee is good. i keep posting about being happy, and i find amazing that i am still so freakin happy after more than ( Read more... ) -

OMG that calc exam sucked. i am not looking forward to seeing my grade. Kol Nidre tonight and a tough day tomorrow. i wonder how it will turn out. -
more good stuff....and one bad thing
life continues to be pretty good here in ABQ. my apartment is shaping up and i finally got a bed this weekend. after weeks of sleeping on the couch, it feels like heaven. i had to get new sheets and stuff because apparently queen and full are not the same size (yes i am a moron). classes are still OK but they are getting tougher, especially ( Read more... ) -

my life is really not all that interesting. but, i did have a little adventure last friday. i went biking with a couple of guys from the department on albuquerque's beautiful greenway. about 20 miles north of UNM, i got separated from them. apparently, one guy came back to look for me after a while, but he couldn't find me. the way back was ( Read more... ) -

i made it
so, i actually made it to albuquerque. things are turning out better than i imagined. i found a great place to live that's only a five minute bike ride from campus, and i got a kitten. my adviser and i had a productive meeting, and it i think i am really going to enjoy the water reuse project. classes are fine so far. more later.
