I just finished reading EXTREMELY LOUD AND INCREDIBLY CLOSE, probably about an hour ago.

I am again, totally blown-away, maybe even more than I was when I read EVERYTHING IS ILLUMINATED a few years ago.

Well just today i've put myself here on this blogthing (if my english isn't always correct..hey I'm dutch) and I loved the books of Jonathan Safran Foer...they impressed me...the story he tells, style..and I can't wait to see the movie..Everything is illuminated..it will be released here in the Netherlands by the end of january..that's it for now ( Read more... )

i recently found an article online which had a very interesting piece of information on jonathan safran foer: he was involved in a sort of science-class explosion. he was traumatized and hasn't spoken about it until recently, it took him 20 years.
