Wasted technology
I went auction-crawling yesterday and came home with a shiny new monitor for K's desktop. At first she ooo'ed and ahh'ed about how nice it was, then..."OMG, Bejewelled Blitz with a MOUSE!"
Reminds me of when I built a new computer for my dad years ago, and when I asked how it was going he said "...well it plays Solitaire REALLY fast." -
Woodworking (of sorts) - Pool yard
When we moved into this place, we knew the retaining wall around the pool needed some love. The sleepers were leaning outwards, the fence on top was leaning even further, it was all a bit shabby.
