Oh man. Ow, ow, ow, but it's a wonderful pain.

It's so terrible to think about all the what-if's, but it's an inevitable occurrance. You just made it that much more beautiful.

These are all lovely, but my favorite was #1 - I love the idea of Sirius and Remus raising Harry from the start.

Living!Sirius always makes me happy. And a Sirius that never went to Azkaban even more.

I'm so glad that someone liked #1-- it was the hardest one to write and I was afraid it really showed!

Living!Sirius always makes me happy. And a Sirius that never went to Azkaban even more.

I couldn't agree more. In an attempt to feel better about putting Sirius through twelve years of hell I had him seen by the best Healers in #2. In my mind that gave him and Remus time to focus on their reunion, and not the more immediate problem of his health.

Anyway, thanks so much for your lovely comment. :)

*is relieved*

I'm so glad to hear that! I was worried for a moment that I'd just gotten a weird flame-thing, lol. My apologies for (almost!) grossly misinterpreting your comment. :)

“Shhh,” Remus whispered soothingly, cradling Harry against his bare chest.

*wibble*

when the Dursleys were killed in a car accident

*cackle* *steeples fingers* Exxxxxcelent.

In the last one - was it DD?

These are extremely cool.

I thought so too. Poetic justice for lying to Harry and saying that his parents died in a car crash. (No, I'm not bitter... *g*)

In the last one - was it DD?

I was surprised no one asked me about that sooner! Actually, it was Ron. No one fell through the veil, but complications ensued while he was battling with the brains, and, well-- that was the end of it. (I love Ron, but I love Sirius more :P )

These are extremely cool.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed. :)

I have to admit to wondering about that in the last one too, but forgot to ask!

Dammit. *was hoping it to be AD*

XD; I'm sorry, but I have a slight aversion to Dumbledore due to the fact the man's a manipulative Deus ex Machina. XP;;;;

I DO love Sirius, but I still think he should make up (but yes, Azakaban IS too harsh) for bullying Snape, since as a child I'd been the oddling that was bullied and know how MUCH it hurts.
My favorite "raising Harry" fics tend to be ones where Snape DOES like wee Harry and is reluctantly cooperating with R&S or vice versa - hence my love and constant rereading of copperbadge's Stealing Harry-verse, too.

An interesting reversal (a Severitus story) is Gillian Middleton's MINE verse, where Snape is Harry's father. I think you'd like it, especially since Remus ends up being Harry's tutor and Sirius = Snuffles, Remus' "pet". XD
