I used to sleep flat on my back, but now I mostly sleep on my side.  Growing up, I didn't think it was breakfast if wasn't pancakes or waffles or cereal; these days, we make a brunch of omlettes and coffee just about every Saturday and Sunday.  I never watched football until I was in my 20s.  I still only use Colgate toothpaste, though, and I love ( Read more... )

Did anyone else know it was sweater day today in honor of Mr. Rogers?  Luckily, I wore a sweater.  And rain boots.  They did not prevent the rain from coming.

Velvet Teen and Aloha this weekend.  Just like the good ol' days, back at Common Grounds.  What I wouldn't give to be hanging out on that porch right about... now.

I was so healthy today except for all the chocolate pretzels.

What would it be like to have a sane boss?  Just one out of many.  Or is 'sane boss' an oxymoron?

I can make beautiful photographs at work of rooms that don't exist.  Some day I will show you these fairy tales.

I saw Magnetic Fields play at the Town Hall.  It was amazing and made me happy.  And discouraged.  I can't write songs like that.  Maybe someday I can.  But unfortunately, Stephin Merritt already wrote them.
