Why are these lol-things called "macros"? These pictures where an object, preferably an animal, usually a cat, is labelled with a phrase in idiosyncratic grammar. The usage does not correspond to any meaning of "macro" that I know.

I was just in the break room starting the automatic tea pot. Somebody noticed what else I was doing, and asked incredulously: "You microwaved your tube socks?!?"

"Of course," I answer brightly. "They are full of rice!"

Then I walk out with the nuked socks in hand, leaving a selection of bemused co-workers behind.

The rabbit suckles her young for about 15 minutes per day. On this nutrition, the young grow strong, quick, and healthy. The rabbit milk is obviously very nutritious.

I wonder how quickly one could achieve a milch rabbit breed.

I need more tools. My current equipment is inadequate for the disassembly of the rear brake saddles of the current Volvo, and I need to replace the brake pads.

I need to amend that. I do have quite adequate tools to disassemble the said brake saddles. But if I do that, they will not be possible to assemble into road-safe configuration again. ( Read more... )

Not really. When in Warrant Officer School, I begun to really like cross-country running and orienteering. Until my knees started acting up, and had to be operated.
