Just beat Tales of Vesperia. 80 hours, and I got probably 80% of the sidequests. It's a very good game, and ALMOST a truly great game. The combat system is really fun, the crafting, cooking, and skill systems combine to make grinding fun, and the characterization and humor is a lot better than in most other RPGs I've played. I just fixed a bug at work that formed an interesting puzzle. We have a quick printf function at work that handles formatting certain data types faster than microsoft printf (which is really slow). This code:

printf("%d", -2147483648)

produced this result:

I'm working on surveying existing mod/user editing tools. Right now I'm taking a look at Neverwinter Nights, and I know I want to steal some stuff from Little Big Planet. Just got back the Tate Modern in London (I'm visiting for the week). It was a actually pretty cool, and I recommend it if you're in the area. The combination of that and listening to people talk about art games has inspired me to think about doing some interactive art stuff. Something that combines abstract motion and music. So, I heard most of Obama's speech tonight, when I was driving home from work. And then I sat in my driveway and listened to the rest of it. And then I sent in my voter registration card and donated $50. That man is dangerous.

I'm actually really getting into the olympics. I just watched the men's gymnastics finals, and they were great. I'm even getting excited by the swimming events, which I don't normally.
