So, I've been playing some Geometry Wars 2. I suck at 5 of the modes (4-5 on my friends list) but I rock at Kings (1st, 3.8M, which is 1M above 2nd place). I do not understand why, as Kings combines two modes I suck at...

Anyone know of a good D&D 4th edition rules summary/DM screen? I'm working on trying out this crazy "DM" thing I keep hearing about.

I just took a wholly unscientific but quite fun "IQ adventure test" over at OKCupid. It was well implemented, and calibrated for typing speed (a good idea I haven't seen in other tests). Last night coderanger had a housewarming party, and much fun was had. It was notable for me as a merger of two halves of my lj friend list. It also featured alcohol, Rock Band, and getting yelled at by the apartment manager because piman was rocking out too hard to Sabotage.

So, to all the RPI people who aren't in the Bay Area yet, when are you guys moving out

I have now completely mastered TWEWY. I achieved 100% pins and 100% items (and 100% noise), and that's it. This is the first JRPG where I've done everything there is to do in a game, and thusly I have marked that off my life achievement list. Total time spent in game was 96 hours, about 30 of which leaving it on overnight to level stuff ( Read more... )

Just got back from seeing new Indiana Jones. That... was not great. Acting, directiong, effects were all good but not particularly noteworthy, but the script SUCKED. That was simultaneously ridiculous and very predictable. Also, apparently Indiana Jones is about as invulnerable as Superman.

I'm thinking of buying a medium size (32" to 40") flat screen tv for around $1000. It would be nice if it has a bunch of inputs (I have lots of game consoles). Anyone do research recently and have some suggestions ( Read more... )

Man, nothing takes me out of an MMO like a broken quest. I got to the end of a dungeon and the boss wasn't there. I tracked him, and he's 150 feet below me, inside the world. Age of Conan was pretty much perfect up until the. Reminds me of City of Heroes :)
