Saturday was Jay's memorial service.  It was a hurricane sadness, pain, anger, and uninhibited joy.  I just couldn't begin to describe it, but I can simply say it was how a funeral should be.  We mourned his lose and then we celebrated his life with a great, burning passion.  He touched a lot of people and will be so very missed ( Read more... )

I'm ever so tempted to abandon Livejournal.  I no longer have any desire to update it whatsoever.  I can never find the time or willpower to read anyone's entries.  No, I don't find myspace that much more interesting.  I never update that thing's blog either.  I guess I'm past the point where I need a journal.  I dunno, just random thoughts.

The semester is over.  Barely made it.   I'm about 83% positive I failed Psychology, my first failing grade in college....Oh well, I'm happy these classes are over.  I admit I liked Sociology.  I might continue my studies in that.  Anyway, I just realized how much time I'll have on my hands now and that sucks.

Here's something funny.  I was looking at the Fafsa website and saw something interesting that I didn't realize.  I thought when you filled out a fafsa for say, 2005-2006, it would be for the whole of both years.  It seems it goes from fall of the first year to summer of the next.  Basically one full year of school.  Why I thought it otherwise I ( Read more... )
