I got my first full body massage. Dad, manas, and amma got it done too. I had to strip down to my undies(minus the bra) and my massage lady soaked me in oil. We went and saw some indian martial arts, the mother of all martial arts in asia...this type, called kalaripayyatt, was taken to china by buddhist monks and from there sprung all this karate and kung fu business. Kerala-literally means the land of the coconuts. It’s one of the most beautiful and best run states in india. Literacy here is near 100% (take that, america). And coconuts really can really be used for EVERYTHING. We learned how to make alcohol out of them but it involves climbing really high palm trees so that won’t be happening anytime soon.
