Yesterday was another long day. I woke up early and went to work for seven hours. I worked straight through, trying to get the schedules done as quickly as possible. I spoke with my boss and decided to take vacation time next week. I have more vacation time for the year than I had anticipated. We got some more bad news today. My mom's left foot has been hurting and her toes are turning purple. Prior to having her chemo today, she showed her foot to her oncologist and he sent her straight over to see a vascular surgeon. It's been a really dramatic week.

First off, last Thursday/Friday, I caught Marc's stomach flu. I called in sick for two days and was really sick. Not fun at all. Apparently, it's something that has been going around Marc's office.

Wednesday- My aunt drove up from Tustin and we took my mom to Huntington memorial for her PET scan. The hospital was amazing, looked just like a fancy hotel. Bad news first...got mom's MRI results back today and it has spread to her brain. This means that she is now considered stage four. Her appointments got all switched around this week. I am stuck in the middle of my mom and aunt. We love my aunt, but she drives us nuts. I am usually ok around her, but my mom gets snippy. My aunt wants to come to my mom's chemo appointment on Wednesday and my mom doesn't want her to. My mom wants me to call her up and "deal with it."
