My son had tubes put in his ears yesterday, and he's already a changed little man. Having had four ear infections in the last three months, my son is now a candidate for getting tubes in his ears. Do any of you have experience with the procedure? Have your kids benefitted from it?

Just saw The Incredibles. Loved it. Think Pixar would let me telecommute? I don't know what I could contribute, but they're all just so...cooooool.

I forget to mention that my 4 year-old made me so proud the other day. She brought me a picture she'd drawn of a single line with a diamond shape on the top of it. She declared, "Look, Mama -- I drew the wizard's stick from Lord of the Rings!" *sniffs* My, how they grow ( Read more... )

I don't have a house yet, but that may be rectified by next week. *cross fingers, says a prayer* And since my husband is off golfing, I thought I'd commandeer his work laptop and work on a little Abby/Sirius ficlet that won't leave me alone.
