 Today is a historic day.  Today Berlin's largest synagouge reopened having been completely restored and refurnished after nearly sixty years of dissuse following the Holocaust itself.  The synagogue was one of the few in Germany and all of Europe for that matter that was left standing following Kristalnacht and the subsequent war and atrocities.   ( Read more... )
