i'm back home from going to Il-lo (my mom's hometown in the countryside in southeastern korea) for chusuk. it was nice to see my relatives, even though it was for a very brief time. by the time i arrived there, everyone had already gone to visit my grandmother's (on my mom's side) grave, so i had to go alone with one of my uncles this morning. it ( Read more... )

yesterday i completed my first marathon. 4 hrs 58 min. it was such a surreal experience. we ran in the streets of seoul from ganghwamoon to jamsil. i hadn't trained at all going into it and i almost decided not to run in the race, but at the last minute decided to try and see how far i could go. i was hoping to make only half or 2/3 but i managed ( Read more... )
