Today, Kalina and I went on a quest for the ocean, and found the most magnificent place!! There is an island out to the north of Edinburgh that you can walk to when the tide is low, with lots of bird life. Cramond island, it is called. The tide was already low when we got there. I went climbing today at the bouldering gym in Edinburgh. It is impossible to find without a map, because it is veeery inconspicuous. I copied down the stop I was supposed to get off at, but as an added precaution asked the bus driver if he knew where it was. He did, and he said he would call it out. So after a day of delayed trains, busses, and planes, I am FINALLY in Edinburgh. Last night I met one of my friends from the school who happened to also be here. So I have been snowed in!! A meter of snow fell in the past day and a bit here in Denmark, and busses have stopped running. I am at Ditte's parents' house in the country, and it's lovely out!
