I never understood why people completely overlooked Wesley Clark in 2004, but he's thinking of trying again, and I think that's good news given the situation overseas. We need a proven leader - someone who, oh, I don't know, actually served in the military, understands geopolitics, can spell, can speak, etc.

If he campaigns, he's got my vote.

Just watched Clerks II and came away feeling completely okay with it.

Makes me want to write again. Love it love it.

I should be grading research papers but I'd much rather not do that.

Picked up a copy of Script Partners at HPB tonight. Not a bad find, and seems to discuss some stuff I can implement when I redesign the 299x scriptwriting course for spring. (Hint: Required collaboration, no matter how much they bitch and moan.)

My staunch anti-DC stance has allowed one title to sneak through. Y: The Last Man is fascinating stuff. I picked up Book 1 tonight and almost got through in one sitting. The rest will find their way into my wishlist, and possibly my grubby paws.

Rolled into Muncie at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday for a 10 a.m. meeting, then had 6 hours to kill before teaching. How did I spend this? For a time, I chilled with Turvey. For a bit more, I went to Jimmy John's and Village Green, where I grabbed Everthus the Deadbeats' EP for cheap.
