Well hi everybody. How the hell have you all been? Should I start actually posting on this thing again?

It's interesting checking my friends list again after so long not being here. Everybody's lives have jumped forward by a year or so, and I have no idea what is going on.

I don't know what the hell a cornish game hen is, but I bought two of them tonight. Now I have to figure out how the hell you are supposed to make them. I'm trying to find some new types of meat to make to mix things up a little bit. I wish that it were summer, then I could start grilling steaks. I pan fried chicken legs in extra virgin olive oil last night. Eating them was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I had never used that stuff for frying before, and man it is going to become a staple of my diet. Shorter lifespan be damned. I also boiled red potatoes and made some green beans. It was fantastic. I went to Borders today, because I just realized there was one in town and Waldenbooks just doesn't have a big enough selection for someone who wants to browse. I ended up there for 2.5 hours and bought four books. I just ordered two off of Barnes & Noble's website yesterday too, so I have a lot of freakin' reading to do.
