i made the best soup yesterday, pretty much by accident. i had two really large sweet onions which were needing to be cooked. i sliced them and started them cooking in butter in a large pot. then i washed five scrawny little red potatoes which were on their last legs and sliced them thinly (skin on), cutting the largest pieces in half again ( ( Read more... ) -

my first challenge happens next week. at work, the group i'm part of (5 of us right now) have decided to have a monthly lunch-with-theme. so next week we're going to do italian.

have i told you about this nifty little program called KeepIt? it's by Panicware and is a utility which puts of all your passwords in an encrypted folder on your computer to keep track of them for you.
