The mugs look cute but what’s the Luna and Artemis heads? Some kind of macaron or manjuu?

Any donut sounds good, we don’t have proper donuts here!

Here in casinos, there is a 6-month ban of stepping into the casino you worked for too. I guess it’s just a precaution as the ex-staff would know the ways via the staff corridors.

They are mochi filled with sweet paste! Artemis was a bit creamy, while Luna had almost a sweet potato cream filling type taste.

I mean, I get it for casinos. But I worked in a 3 room office with a staff of 12, most either in their 20's, or over 40, lol.

Wow! I'd think if you're no longer working there or connected to the company, you're not obligated to obey those silly rules and can move freely. They act as though you're going into exile! :(

That's exactly what I thought. I mean, it's not like I'm going to go and become BFFs with every client I've had while working there and then steal them for where I work now. I even did them a favor in purposely NOT jobhunting in the same city so that they wouldn't have that fear.

Provided I didn't sign any binding agreements to the contrary, I'd just do what I want to do. I wouldn't think there's anything they can do to stop you. Besides, how would they know, have someone follow you around day and night? LOL!

Lol, yeah, I don't think there is anything legal they can do to stop me, but I don't want them to start gossiping about me to other companies and such either for "not playing fair."

I think there might be a clause about it in the contracts of full-time permanent employees. But I was only a part time contract employee so.... none of that in my contract.

The city is small enough, actually, that we'd probably easily run in to each other, lol. Like, everything is located in centralized areas, then nothing for kilometers.

Yay for your last day and some time to relax!!!! (And doughnuts/tea!!)

I cannot believe what *#%(s your former company is. UGH. Good riddance. And like, can they even control you like that? The probably can, but it's really uncomfortable and uncool.

As you say, what is the worry?!! Like, have they been doing terrible things they think you might know about/leak?!!!

Anyway, goodbye to that junk and hello to all your new adventures!

I think there aren't any legal measures they can take, but I'm not sure what it might do towards my reputation, if they might start rumors or whatever around our field.

I'm not interested in constantly meeting old clients -- there were only a handful I'd like to meet up with. To tell me I can't even go in to the city during work hours is hardly fair.
