my observations today
as i was driving home alone from church this morning, i happened to look up, just as i was on the transition overpass from the 15 to the 210. what i saw took my breath away.
there were these two red-tailed hawks, soaring and diving. i felt the need to pull the car over to side of the road and watch them. i didn't, but i wanted to. i just kept ( Read more... ) -

we went by and saw the house last night. it was nice and quiet.
i called the landlord this morning, and we are meeting tomorrow afternoon to sign the rental agreement, get the keys and the code for the alarm. i'm actually excited instead of sad. what a turn-around from 2 weeks ago.

i think we found something. we went and looked at it today, and we're pretty happy with it. we met the landlord, and he seems like a really good guy. it's on a quiet street, the end of a very long cul-de-sac, backs up to the field of an elementary school. we want to go look at it tonight, just cuz if something's going to go on, saturday night ( Read more... ) -
memories come to an end
i've been packing a few boxes each night, just to try to get ahead a bit.
tonight i took the pictures off the walls, packed them in boxes, along with my scrapbooks.

why do i let myself have high hopes?
anytime i have ever enjoyed a series, and watched it until the very end, i have been disappointed in the finale.
seinfeld, mad about you, west wing, nypd blue (actually, this one wasn't too bad). tonight was no exception. after 5 months with netflix, i finally watched the last episode of the sopranos. what a let-down. i hate when they leave you ( Read more... ) -

i'm preparing myself mentally for the doctor. i know that i'll be getting yelled at. multiple reasons, really. anyone wanna guess? blood pressure, weight, not doing my shoulder exercises. and just for the record, i'm having a really stressful morning and my blood pressure is up already. great! yah, it's gonna be fun.

i'm very confused right now.
we may have to move.
when i was preggers with child #2, i had to be taken off work less than half way through. literally one week before i went off, we were served papers for a law-suit. what a mess. in order to hire an attorney, we had to re-fi. well, our ridiculous loan has gotten to a point where our ARM was ( Read more... ) -

This non-profit foundation helps families who lose a child to pay for funeral expenses and outstanding medical bills when possible.
Last year my participation helped to raise over $40,000
