Yesterday was by far the worst day since my surgery. Nothing stayed down, even the anti nausea meds. There is a strange sensation in my "pouch" area (where they cut my stomach) that feels like a gas bubble/heart burn/pain. Goodbye to an Officer and a gentleman... fly free my friend

Had my surgery on Tuesday the 5th, did well, went home Thursday the 7th for 3 hours then back to hospital with pneumonia and dehydration, finally came home on Sunday feeling a LOT better. I saw the Doctor for post Op visit yesterday and was given the ok to start trying foods, first puree, moving on to soft and finally in three weeks I can eat what ( Read more... )

I am going in tomorrow morning for my stomach surgery. I am really looking forward to getting my life back and this is part one of that goal. In May I will get my knee fixed and I will be a real person again! One who can walk and do what she wants to do. Was afraid to jinx it by spilling the beans, but the sale went through yesterday. I met the new owners and they are really nice and LOVE the house, so it makes me feel a little better.
