Well hello old friend! I've neglected you for months. Will you take me back?

Here's a quick update on me, and then I want to catch up with all of you

My first 3 weeks at JLARC went off without a hitch. What can I say? It's a bunch of smart, funny, nice people whoe went the extra mile to make me feel at home. I've been assigned to one project so far. It's called Aquatic Lands (no that's not a oxymoron, smart asses). We're basically doing a performance audit on aquatic lands management. Could it be....happiness??? I had the best first day at work! I have a big new office with a door, walls, and even a window. We had a staff meeting and everybody was laughing and joking. They gave me a "welcome cup" with pink flamingos - which are the unofficial mascot. Three people took me to lunch and there were people were in and out of my ( Read more... )

1) My loved ones are healthy and happy
2) I have the best cat in the world
3) I'm losing weight
4) My friends have not given up on me
5) I have my Masters degree
6) I have money in the bank
7) I don't have anything tying me down and the possibilities are endless

I talked with an old friend from DC yesterday and I was surprisingly hurt by the recalling of an old situation. To make a long story short, I slept with a friend in our friendship circle and when he mistreated me, I moved on from the circle of friends ( Read more... )

SF was so much fun. I took it easy the first couple of days and hung out with an old friend from DC and spent time with 'tonio. Saturday night I danced until dawn.
