The most obvious thing missing is my laptop. Still no word on whether my engagement ring or other jewelery is missing. These are the most concerning. The laptop of course has pictures, my journal, and lots of personal information. The social worker just called. She is scheduled to visit the home of the Aunt tomorrow who would replace us as relative caregivers. Assuming the home checks out ok, which is likely, he can be placed with them as soon as tomorrow. Wow! I'm relieved and a little surprised.
