Friday was one of those odd days where things actually worked out. I had a basic layout of how the day would go about:

I have a job interview at this Funky Monkey restaurant tomorrow. I have to go there tomorrow between 2-4pm, have a chat, then pass some sushi rolling test. I'm not super nervous, but this is the first time I've found myself a job on my own merits. No one's referred me or anything. I sought out this job all on my own. My favorite shoes are falling apart, which is a glaring metaphor of my life. I currently have the next 10+ days off, after an abysmal two-day work week. I really don't know when the hotel will pick up again so that I'll be able to work. I'm going to have to get cracking on finding a second job soon.
