I still love reading this fanfiction on Gia's Every Six Second website.  After all this time it still entertains me.

Our area was hit with an early snow storm.  We don't usually see snow until about January or February.  Well, we got about 6-8 inches of snow in two days.  My power went off for two days.  Thankfully, I had an alternative heat source and I had battery operated lights.  I was able to drive to my sister house during the day to charge my cell phone ( Read more... )

After spending a week on traveling for my job, I came down with some type of virus/flu.  I went to the doctor and they basically told me to treat the symptoms.  You know the drill, drink plenty of fluids, take tylenol/advil for the aches and fever.  Yesterday, I finally was able to eat something solid and felt like a human again.

I know I've been a little quiet the last few days, but I was traveling for my job.  In the last week I've been to 5 different cities giving presentations with non profit, for profit groups and local representatives.  I have two more cities I have to travel to next week, but they are only about 1 to 1 1/2 hour drive.  So, I get to come home after ( Read more... )

I come from a very large southern family. My family members have spread across the US. It takes several weeks for us to figure out accommodations for out of town family members. We also have to plan a menu weeks ahead of schedule to assure that everyone will have an assortment of foods to eat regardless of their dietary needs and/or restrictions.
