Jonghyun had only felt a little guilty taking his virginity.
Jonghyun knew Jinki was cheating on him. There was nothing really obvious about it, but Jonghyun always knew. Angry and bitter, he had gone to a bar to pick up some random stranger and get back at Jinki. Instead, he found Taemin, the son of the bar’s owner.
Taemin had been more than a little infatuated. Part of Jonghyun was tired of it, tired of losing friendship to worship; the other part wanted to give in and kiss Taemin’s lips. He did give in eventually, and Taemin couldn’t have been more enthusiastic.
Taemin was young and inexperienced, and Jonghyun had only felt a little guilty for taking his virginity. He knew it should have been someone who cared more for Taemin, someone like Minho, his tall and stoic best friend, who Jonghyun knew loved Taemin more than it seemed. But Jonghyun was hurt and bitter, and that side of him wanted to inflict the same pain onto someone else.
It ended almost as quickly as it had begun. Without any words exchanged, Jonghyun knew that Jinki’s affair had ended. He forgave Jinki without telling him and went back only somewhat reluctantly.
He never thought he’d hurt Taemin more than he intended, but then again he never thought much of Taemin at all after that.
