Since Monday night I've been feeling quite ill, had cold like symptoms, the cough that's been niggling for months got worse and had a crazy visual distortion/flashing lights/massive head pain thing. Not going to point out the smoking thing!
But i will add this. i used to smoke and i have asthma too!
Its not the smoking that causing you issues its the giving up that screws you.

I smoked for off and on for a little over 11 years.
But the only times i really noticed the hacking cough and breathing difficulties was when i tried to quit. i would go through 4 weeks of hell and then i wouuld be fine.

So i will just say get well soon! and get some rest!

P.S: Man Colds CAN KILL its an unproven fact! so we men must be careful!
