I'm generally pretty sanguine about unknown noises in the night. (jodo1978 might even be able to tell you I'm occasionally a little too sanguine about it.)

But what the bloody, frilly heck are making those little clicky-clicky noises outside? They happen in rounds like the songs of the cicada, but since when do cicada make clicky noises?

Okay, I understand that the word "kak" in Russian is phonetically nearly identical with a somewhat rude word in English. However, the next friend to crack up when I'm singing something sad is going to get an elbow inserted into an uncomfortable place, capiche?

My eyes tend to zoom into any article where it says "the public are asked to help find..." because it means there's some psycho runnings around the area. Of course usually the descriptions are deeply unhelpful like "a hispanic man 30-35 and 150-160 lbs."
