More cake coming tomorrow night. I like this. When the woman gets stressed, she bakes. And then, she pawns it off on me.

It is really not such a bad thing, I have to say.

I seem to have poison ivy.  Again.  You would think that as a grown ass man I would not get poison ivy on such a frequent occurrence.

But, you know, you'd be wrong. :-)

This is a time when we grow stronger.

I am watching a good number of my friends grow more confident and self aware lately.  As life and world gets rockier, they find strength and balance within.

Kind of exciting to watch.

About eight inches of snow fell in D.C. last night - it was still falling when I left for the office this morning - pretty, but nothing earth shattering.

Of the 100 or so folk who work in my building - I am the only one who came in.  I cruised in and made fresh tracks in an empty, unplowed parking lot.

This would not happen in Chicago.
 

I strongly suspect that the "evaporated organic cane juice" in my cereal is sugar.

I'm just saying....
