I can't believe it but my little girl 'crawled' forward about a foot this weekend. She was going for a plastic cheetah of Sebastian's, she wanted to chew on it. She's not supposed to be moving this quickly! But she got her arms and legs going and pushed forward- it was adorable! A friend of mine here at work, Joanna, has 2 sons, Dylan and Will. Will's going to be 2 next month. Joanna called into work today b/c Will's got croup- he's ok, doing much better but in the theme of the infection, ended up in the ER last night. When Sebastian was a bit over 1, I missed his first trip to the zoo. They took a field trip at school and I couldn't get out of work for the day. Today, his class went to Sunrock Farms, his first trip to a farm and to the pumpkin patch. The Bach. party was a fantastic time. I'm getting old. My knees hurt. My hips hurt. Derrick and I have started a weekly tradition- Movie night. After the kids go to bed, we cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie. So far we've caught up on classics such as 40 year old virgin, Knocked up, The Holiday and this week's was In Her Shoes. Just a warning- Mercury is in retrograde starting on Friday going through Nov. 2nd. So unless you were born when Mercury was in retrograde, be prepared for the usual, minor irritating things going wrong.
At least when this happens, we have something to blame for things like the car not starting, missing the plane, burning dinners etc ;)
