In about that much time I'll be lying cuddled on the couch w/ my daughter thinking I need to put her down and start getting ready for work. 12 very short hours. 12 weeks hs flown by in what feels like just that many hours that I've been home w/ her. I start back to work in less than a week. I start back at work 2 weeks from tomorrow. I'm a bit sad that this time has gone so quickly. I'm a bit anxious to start working again. I'm looking forward to the new routine and getting into that routine, how things are going to work. But I'm dreading the missed time w/ my kids. did you know that carseats are not only great things to strap your infant into the car and avoid injury should you wreck but they also double as a crib. Sierra has a knack of wanting only to be swung to sleep in her carseat and then we put the carseat in the crib. funny, yes I know, but swinging that carseat for 10 minutes 5 times a day is a ( Read more... )

Steaming hot water is a wonderful thing. Especially after a weekend of pool and river entertainment. Washing off the yuk of sunscreen, sweat, clorine and dust is an amazing feeling of Thank God for Hot showers. Last night I went to Cheeseburger in Paradise for drinks- had a rum runner.
