the 2 of us went up north for the 2nd time this summer. it was really hot and nice out, but it was very very buggy. we couldn't really sit around outside at all, so it was mostly driving, hiking, a bit of swimming, and constant swatting. first we found a suitable lake and swam a bit. there were wild strawberries by the lake so i picked 2 for each ( Read more... )

Yesterday I saw a tornado in Westmount park. It was a small one, but not a really tiny one. It was impressively powerful and fast, on a kind of non-destructive scale, and it was like 20 feet high. It was so cool! I've never seen a tornado before in real life.
