I'm listening to Canon Conundrums (Pottercast), and there are a couple of things that I want to meta about, but I should have gone to bed over an hour ago. So, I'll limit myself to this:
Them: The Centaurs are "peaceful" like the mafia!
Me: *blink* Piss them off, and you'll wake up with a horse head in your bed!
So. Very. Wrong. -
My 7-Day Afghan
I just finished taking pictures of my 10-month "7-Day Afghan". When I started, I expected it to take me a month or so. HA!
The pattern is Orchid Lace from this book. E- picked the yarn (Plymouth Encore #1316); she calls it "sunrise orange." The photos look a little redder than it is IRL. Also, I left off the fringe, because she asked me to. It's ( Read more... ) -
Knitting WIP
I've been working on a Gryffindor illusion scarf for R-. I created the pattern myself, and this is my first illusion anything, so there has been a lot of trial and error involved. Question:
What's black and white and red all over?
Answer: My back deck. Right now, there are two Black-capped Chickadees (black & white), two White-Breasted Nuthatches (black & white), one Dark-eyed Junco (black & white), and one male Downy Woodpecker (black & white with red spot on the back of his head) on and around the bird feeders out there. -
