Tomorrow is Tuesday already. I feel like I've made a jump on the week. This week we'll do more fractions, more Marsville project (It's already making me crazy,) westward expansion, and we'll begin reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Time to make the coffee and pack a lunch.

I muddled over what to do about the violence discussion ond related issues with my students. I decided not to do anything unless the subject came up. I have this terrible tendency to stay up much too late on weeknights and then sleep away my weekend. I don't know what the alternative is, as it is I don't feel like I have enough time for myself. Today was grappling, chaotic, wonderful Friday with a bit of cranky thrown in for flava. You know the kind of day I mean, especially if you deal with children. I skipped out at 3:00. Things are fine here in the land of the (apparently) work-obsessed. I'm writing a math review and then going to bed. This week has been chaotic so far, but at least it's more than half over. I'll write more when I have something of substance to say. :) Goodnight.

I worked hard today to get my classroom set up and my lesson plans done for the week. The fraction wall turned out really cool (cool for a teacher with no life, I guess.) I've shamelessly wasted my vacation doing silly things like reading and sleeping. Now I must go get some work done in my classroom.
