Update: To have tags converted to lowercase (to avoid duplicated tags that only have different case) create a file taglist_lower.txt (or rename existing taglist.txt). When that file is found, tags are loaded from it and converted to lowercase. For uppercase create taglist_upper.txt. Otherwise taglist.txt is used and tags are not converted. -

There were reports about some strange display effects when using auto spellchecker in HTML mode: when the text reaches the bottom of the screen and the window starts to scroll, the cursor jumps one line back and forth during typing. I saw that error before and it was fixed after version 1.5.1.0. If you still see that or any other effect with auto ( Read more... ) -

I did not receive any feedback about Fotobilder client in Semagic. Does anyone use is at all? Do you get any errors? Do you think that something can be improved?
There is at least one problem: if you have a lot of galleries (~100) their list cannot be retrieved via any client that uses old version of FB protocol including Semagic and evan's client ( Read more... ) -

The latest release of the client has auto spellchecker which automatically highlights misspelled words like in MS Word. Right click on underlined word for a list of suggestions or to add it to dictionary. Currently it works only in WYSIWYG editing mode and should be explicitly turned on in Options. There is a suggestion that the major version number of Semagic should be increased faster than it is now (now each public release is numbered consecutively stating from the minor version number), especially with regard to that the size of the client (the only objective and measurable property) increased more than twice since 1.2.1.1. As you might have noticed, recent changes at LJ may result in more markup errors than before if your entries contain incorrect HTML. Semagic has an option to automatically replace 2 spaces with because most browsers do not display consecutive space characters. But Semagic does not preform HTML parsing so if that option is enabled all such ( Read more... )
