Yesterday was a bad day. I usually try not to write about these kind of days because they are not about crying or grief, just despair and darkness. But even when I am in the pits and don't want to get out, the next day comes and I get up and keep moving. May not be such a productive day, but I'm still here.

I met for the second time with my new psychiatrist, and I really like him. However, he dropped a couple of bombs on me. He thinks I have ADD, inattentive type in addition to BP II. He also wants me to get a sleep study because he thinks I may have sleep apnea. And I have to give up tequila! No changes in meds as yet. But two new disorders in one ( Read more... )

The fun part of this time of year is starting. All of Will's friends and other kids his age are doing traditional senior things. The senior kids at our church put on a Maundy Thursday service that made me cry. I used to teach some of the these kids Sunday School. My new Zoll AED was delivered yesterday. Now I will meet with our administrative pastor to give him the AED and tell him about my plan. I am very excited about it. I talked to my favorite nurse, and she is going to help me grandfather in as an instructor, so I just have to do the update training to be a Certified CPR instructor.
