Old Friends.
Ashwin, Jandor and F'sair head back to a particular bar in Crom, and have no better luck than Ashwin did the first time. Worse, actually. They enjoy themselves a whole lot. Later, back at High Reaches Weyr, Roa feeds them midnight snacks. (With many, many thanks to Roa for kickass NPCs.)

Morning Training
Reyce has started joining the guards' early morning sessions that are open to the public. He stays back to help pack up, and is on the receiving end of what is, for Ashwin, quite a warm welcome. Admittedly, it can be hard to tell this.

Set an hour after the dragons stopped keening for the exile weyrlings. In the middle of carrying out the duties assigned to him by R'vain, Ashwin steals a minute to tell Lorna what's up, and make promises he probably can't keep.

He did go out on boats, but it turned out he was a terrible seasicker, so in the end he settled first for building them, and then for joining the guard.
