Yesterday was the first snow of the year. The week of Thanksgiving it was like 65 degrees all week and now the high is 25. I always thought in places where it snowed regularly, they have things like snow plows and salt for the roads/parking lots. In Salt Lake, for example, the snow plows would be out by 4 a.m. and be running constantly all day. ( Read more... )

It turned out to be a really great long weekened. We went down to Phoenix on Thursday for Thanksgiving with Nate's aunt. There were a ton of people there--we had to wear name tags.
