I really like Keens for slightly-more-formal-than-sneakers. They are exceptionally comfortable, and seem to last a long time. Dansko's are comfortable as well, but I found that they didn't survive as long.

Well, *I* am always interested in clothing/shoe talk! Having had this footwear crisis myself, I usually go with Aerosoles, as they tend to be pretty comfortable yet classy enough for the office. You can often catch good sales on their website or their stores, too.

However, the BEST way to buy two pairs of shoes and eat lunch all in 45 minutes is to shop on Zappos. ;)

I keep hearing good things about Zappos. I'd totally buy shoes online...but today I need the instant gratification! Still, your precious information will remain stored in my head (and on my lj site) for when I'm not so trigger happy...trigger happy?

Oh yeah, they are TOTALLY the way to go. Free overnight shipping and free returns, so you could order a big ol' stack of shoes, throw yourself a little shoe party, and then send them all back for free! Also, a very good way to pass the time at work. ;)

Oh, and a lot of the brands that you see at Walking Co-type stores (Sofft, Simple, Born) are also available online for significantly cheaper, too. Endless.com is another good one. Happy shopping!

This old thing? Well I just throw it on when I don't care how I look!

Yeah...it's the Virgo in me.
