I shouldn't probably be posting this but I'm kind of bursting at the seams with the news and I really shouldn't be putting it out there IRL, not yet. But I'm most likely pregnant !!

Sex School Scale
J is taking off for 2 weeks for work now that the boys are safely back in school. Tomorrow once I get the boys to the bus, it's off to the airport with him. I've given him a proper send off the last couple of nights to keep both of us from going crazy. Maybe me more than him ( Read more... ) -
Bitch Please
there are few things more satisfying than having a couple of boys conk out while you read them a bedtime story. Part of it is just people actually being asleep and part of it is that them passing out enthralled in a story is just so fucking cute.

J is passed out. He came home drunk (he had the sense not to drive) we had a bit of an argument, we worked ourselves out of it after about 40 minutes of back and forth, then had sex. Now he's out and I'm up, feeling a bit distraught.

I don't discuss it much because generally it's irrelevant, people either don't know or don't care - and frankly my identity isn't super-tied up with it and I prefer to live in a color-blind world.

a couple of my friends on FB had links to a HuffPost piece on Signs you're secretly an introvert. I already knew I was even though most of my friends would disagree. the article does a good job of laying out that introvert doesn't have to mean shy or quiet, although I can be both sometimes, I tend to present myself as reasonably assured, I guess. Sunday
I guess I haven't specified, but the friends I've been camping out with here East of LA are often not here at all. One, S, works in an art department and so she is on set for crazy long hours 6 days a week and the other, G, is often staying over at her boyfriend's across town when she's free from work, although sometimes they crash over here.
