So at the prompting of one of my coworkers... sorta... I watched all of Firefly a couple weeks ago. Borrowed Serenity (the film sequel to the show) and watched tonight. I know I'm a couple years behind here (Serenity was released in the summer of 2005), but the show and the film are both... amazing. It's like the best parts of the old Star Wars ( Read more... )

By this point I am sure everyone who reads my journal is familiar with the ridiculous success of DK, and it comes as very little surprise to this theater veteran. The film, I think, is worth all of it's hype and is easily my favorite of the summer for various reasons (although I must mention Wall*E as a close second in my book, so cute.
