It ended up being a flea market weekend for me! On Saturday, Zoh and I had an Antiquing + Avengers day. I picked her up at the Hamilton train station and drove us to Lambertville's Golden Nugget Antique Market. It was huge! For the 19th Century Extravaganza last weekend, I commissioned a reproduction of an early Victorian gown on Etsy. This style of dress with its enormous sleeves was popular in the 1830s, a period I found too charming and romantic to pass up when I was choosing which style of dress I wanted.

Just got back from another weekend in New York at the 19th Century Extravaganza! I wore a reproduction of an 1830s gown I commissioned on Etsy and a bonnet I decorated, so I'll post photos of them in the next entry. Easter Sunday was quiet this year. I spent the early morning at Fairmount Park taking photos of the cherry trees (as seen in this entry) and then spent the rest of the day with my parents. To celebrate a little raise at work, my tax return, and my recent sales post, I decided to buy shoes ♥ I bought my first Doc Martens, a pair of Castel needlepoint boots. To break them in, I've worn them a few hours every day around the house and now they're very, very comfortable-- I see why they're termed "bouncing soles."

On Thursday, I had a little Hunger Games get together with Stephanie and Miakoda so we could all nerd out together. ♥ We ate Hunger Games themed food, had a little photo shoot in the park, watched Winter's Bone (Jennifer Lawrence is in it, but it's also an amazing film), and went to the midnight screening of the movie.
